Spending quality time with my wife and four kids is the highest priority on my list of favorite activities. Whether we’re camping, cheering on the kids at sports events, or simply taking a stroll in the park, family always comes first for me. When I’m not working on land deals or spending time with my family, you’ll often find me pursuing my passion for hunting whitetail deer, ducks, geese, turkey, and bears. Kayaking, camping, hiking, and exploring nature are ways I enjoy the outdoors when hunting is not an option.
I come from the little town of Fordland, Missouri, a population of just 700 folks in Webster County. Growing up on a 40-acre hobby farm there, I learned the value of hard work, community spirit and land management. We tended to horses, cattle, chickens, and goats, and I developed a deep connection to the land. Before diving into real estate and entrepreneurship many years ago, I spent 12 years as a firefighter and emergency medical technician, where I learned to keep my cool in high-pressure and high stress situations – a skill that still serves me well today.
